• We recommend reading the policy carefully as you are 3 times more likely to claim on pet insurance than on your car or home insurance.
• Unfortunately, there is no NHS for Pets and Vets bill can cost hundreds of pounds for minor illness and if it is something more complicated the cost can rise to thousands of pounds.
• By insuring your pet, it can help us offer the best possible care without the worry of cost for you.
• Some insurance companies offer 12-month cover which means you can claim for 12 months from time noticed for treatment, but after the 12 months the illness may be excluded from the policy.
• We would advise looking for a policy which covers for life – this mean that if you renew the policy yearly, you can claim for the same illness year after year.
