We have for a long time been running very successful puppy parties which have been great fun for clients and staff alike. Early socialisation is a great way to raise happy confident dogs, but not all socialisation can be positive. For this reason, we have decided to improve the way we hold our puppy parties as we found having a mix of over confident puppies with shy puppies can make some more nervous to come back into the vets.

We have now relaunched our puppy parties to be client only evenings called Puppy Advice Workshop (or P.A.W for short- get it?!). They are informal meetings held at our new Penyffordd clinic where we give an informative presentation and discuss what Daleside Vets recommend as a practice. We keep the group numbers small so there’s plenty of time for chat and discussion around specific issues or concerns you may have regarding your pup. We have run three P.A.W evenings now and, as well as the great feedback we’ve received, it has been a lovely way to get to know our fantastic clients and see them with their puppies at our free puppy health clubs following on from the evening.
