We now have more dates for the next donation stations with the Pet Blood Bank which are:

  • Sunday 13th April
  • Sunday 22nd June

The pet blood bank are a charity that supports veterinary clinics across the UK. They provide vital blood supplies to pets in need, one donation of blood can save up to 4 lives!

Here at Daleside we have become the Pet Blood Bank’s first donation station in North Wales!

The criteria to be a dog blood donor is:

Fit, Happy and Healthy
Fully vaccinated
Over 25kg
Between 1 – 8 years old
Not on any medication (Other than parasite treatment and Propalin)

Dog Donors receive benefits too, such as:

Full Yearly Blood Profile (Worth £130)
Health Check at every donation
Lots of treats, toys and attention
Social Media Stars (Daleside Vets Pet Blood Bank!)

The Pet Blood Bank rely on donor dogs to give blood. If you think your dog is a suitable life saver then please ring our practice.
