We have officially launched “Solomon’s Friends” – our fund to help us provide treatment and care for injured strays that other charities cannot help.

We are already off to a great start with some money left over from donations to help a little stray cat we treated before Christmas (since adopted and named Solomon by one of our vets) but if anyone wishes to donate we will have collection tins at each of our surgeries or can take card payments over the phone during office hours.

Our aim is not to take over the work of the excellent charities out there, nor to provide a rehoming service, but to be in a position to provide more than just emergency treatment and hopefully get ill stray patients brought to us well again in order to facilitate finding them a forever home.
