I started my career in nursing in 2002 and have worked in many aspects of small animal nursing, including referral, orthopaedics, opthalmics, hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, and at Dogs Trust and as a locum nurse. I especially enjoy rehabilitation and found it very rewarding to help spinal cases progress from paralysis to walking again when working in referral.

I have 3 rescue cats, including one that had been born on a scrap heap with no eyelids! He has bonded with my miniature beagle and now believes he is a dog.

I have currently returned to Daleside part time after having my little boy and enjoy being back nursing with such a friendly team. I am normally involved behind the scenes in theatre monitoring anaesthetics and fussing sleepy animals.
