My name is Judy and I have worked in practice since 1999, I qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2004. Following my qualification in vet nursing I did a city and guilds qualification and trained to become an A1 assessor, I later updated this qualification to become a clinical coach which enables me to assist junior nurses with their training.

During my career in Vet Nursing I have worked in 3 practices including an exotic referral practice in which I have a particular interest, I have recently contributed to a current BSAVA manual in exotic nursing.

Since returning to Daleside part time following maternity leave I have geared my passion for preventative health care in pets and really enjoying running a range of clinics which include weight management, behaviour, senior clinics, puppy health clubs and many more!!!

I also really enjoy helping to run client evenings at Daleside which enables me to share my knowledge with clients, so far we have run desensitisation evenings, cognitive dysfunction evenings as well as a first aid course for groomers , kennels and catteries.

Out of work I live with my husband Darren and I really enjoy being a mum to our 2 young children. We also have a very handsome golden retriever called Brenig and a cat called Sophie.
