Having always surrounded myself with animals of all shapes and sizes, I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a mixed vet. I graduated from Liverpool university in 2022 and started work in mixed practice in the Preston area. Loving the farm side of my job, I joined Daleside Vets in early 2024, commuting each day from the arable lands of Lancashire which I call home.

So far, I have enjoyed getting to know all of our clients, their different farming systems and in particular – setting up the new smallholder’s club, continuing to work with all creatures! I am now able to split my time between farm work in the beautiful countryside of North Wales, locuming in small animal practice back home, and studying on an animal behavior course.
