Well its time again for the weekly update on Skippy and her knee surgery!!

What a great job Adrian and Jenny have done, 2 weeks after the operation ‘Skippy is hardly hopping at all” (no pun intended).

Since we have been giving her twice daily 5 minute lead walks, her leg has improved (better than I expected) and she now has 80-90% movement in the leg, putting weight on her leg and showing no signs of pain or discomfort

Adrian has had a look at Skippy and is really happy with her progress, she is moving well and putting full weight on the leg and even pulling on her lead. He has asked us to carry on with more physiotherapy to help increase her range of movement and prevent scar tissue forming in the knee.

We are now starting to increase her exercise to 3 walks a day for 5 to 10 minutes each

It always amazes me how fast animal recovery after major surgery and with no complaints.
